Low Scoring at Walton Heath
The last society meeting of the 2002 season took place at Walton Heath on Thur 5th Sept with a disappointing turnout of only thirty- eight players.

Walton Heath is a jewel in the MTGS crown and deserves better support. The difficulty of reaching an acceptable level of support at both Walton Heath and The Berkshire invitation day seriously threatens the society's ability to retain these prestigious venues.

Despite this, those who attended had a great day with perfect weather for golf and Walton Heath's famous food and service. LGS 06/09/02
