We should have been 4 but due to a bad back Vipen Khanna had to withdraw at the last moment (very bad luck Vip) but we 3 left Heathrow Terminal 2 on a cold November morning and some hours later we were in the Arizona sun!
The hotel in the centre of Phoenix was interesting but adequate, Mel had the "Cary Grant" suite. We played 7 of the 100 plus golf courses in the area! Playing 1 twice in the 8 days. The weather was door to door sun, in the mid to high 70's. The mornings were cold but warmed up quickly. The golf courses were, as you can see from the photos above, 1st class some of the best we have EVER played! Also they were EMPTY.
As I am sure you you will not be surprised the weeks sweep was won by Mel with Peter and I coming 2nd and 3rd.
All in all a great time was had by all but what a shame we were only 3!
