Day 2: 4 ½ - 3 ½ to President.
Match Result: 7 ½ - 4 ½ to President.
The first day commenced with champagne to celebrate the arrival of Alan Vince's first grandchild. The President's Team consisted of members from Burhill and St George's Hill, with one MTGS member Roger Wain-Heapy.
After some excellent golf, President's Team led 3/1. A first class dinner and some socialising that evening set the scene for day 2.
Past President Peter Batchelor demolished the current President Paul Richmond with a first class display of golf. Unfortunately the rest of the President's Team played extremely well and came out in front. Handicap certificates were checked and found to be in order! President qualifications were also requested and found to be in order. PB
