Match v Northwest at Blackwell on Friday 21st September 01

10 members fought a good fight against the MTGS (North west) at Blackwell on Friday 21st. The weather was great the course was magnificent but unfortunately our golf was not! We lost 4/1 ! Presenting the trophy to the North West Captain Len Hill, our Captain for the day, Peter Featherstone commented that although we lost the match the individual matches were very close, with several matches going to the last putt on the last green! After 7 years of competition the score is 3/2 to us with 2 matches halved.
