Match v M & MC G S at Tadmarton Heath Golf Club
Wed 9th June 2010
Match Report

As is traditional for Tadmarton, the teams assembled at the first tee at 2 .00 when the heavens duly opened and we all had a wet start. Fortunately it was only a heavy shower and after an hour or so the waterproofs were returned to the bags.
This may well be a record, but the MTGS team was as originally selected and we were led off by our President, Gerry Lynch, playing with Paul Williams who won 2 up. Other winners on the day were Neil Smith and Miles Roberts, 1 up, Conrad Gamble and Mike Bell, 3 up, and Golf Manager John Smith partnered by John Gorse who won 6 and 5.
The MTGS therefore won the match 4 & 2 and Gerry was delighted to be presented with the putter at the end of the day.
A good day for the MTGS.
