MTGS Guest Meeting at Woking Golf Club
Friday 3rd August 2012.
This was the 4th meeting of the year was held at Woking Golf Club, which was in superb condition with beautifully prepared but very difficult undulating greens. So at 8.45 the siren sounded and 35 members and 20 guests set off in perfect golfing weather, which was reflected in the excellent scoring from a number of members as well some great scores from several of the guests. . After an excellent lunch, the prizes, sponsored by Neil Fox of NBJ Insurance Brokers, were presented to the winning players by Neil Fox and Derek Allen. NBJ are a new sponsor and I would to thank Neil for his very generous sponsorship for the meeting.
Last but not least my thanks to John Smith, our golf manager, for all his hard work to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Our last meeting of the year will be held at Walton Heath GC on Thursday 6th September and I look forward to seeing you all there for another great day of golf.
