MTGS Meeting Tuesday 22nd May 2012

at Hankley Common Golf Club

58 players of which 22 were guests assembled for our 2nd meeting of the year at Hankley Common for a Shotgun start at
8.45 a.m.

The sun was shining from the out set of the day and the wonderful weather really enhanced the immaculately presented golf course with the very quick greens proving to be a big challenge. This was borne out by the scores with very few golfers playing to handicap or better. That said Nick Haig scored a very impressive 44 points and Martin Derrick a scorching 40 points. The full results are set out below.

After an excellent lunch, the prizes were presented by Derek Allen and Oliver Harris. Oliver of Moneybarn was the generous sponsor for this meeting which we thank him very much for doing this.

Our thanks also go John Smith , our golf manager, who makes everything come together in a very professional manner.
