MTGS Team trounced by the Bogies

Another dry and warm day, if a little cloudy, greeted the team on arrival at Beaconsfield. It was thought that it was the first time the MTGS had played through an eclipse of the sun, it did feel a bit strange around 10.30 when the sun was only 40% efficient!

The Golf Manager had a BAD journey that morning taking over 3 hours to get to the club from Horsham! His problems were made worse when he found that, as one member had failed to turn up, he had no playing partner and had to play 2 against 1! He lost on the last putt on the last hole! But that did not make much difference to the result as the MTGS lost 3 1/2 to 1/2.

The lunch however was excellent! rjf10/10/05
