We won the Rolls Royce Trophy!
After 4 years the Trophy returns to England the match result was 5 – 3 to us.

Peter Featherstone (Match Manger) made a wonderful job of organising the two days which worked like clockwork. As the wind blew a gale both days and the second day was very cold we did very well to win. Peter and Mike managed to rent a buggy complete with Double Glazing and were taking orders for windows all the way round.
The Panmure course was a real gem with every hole different – we all agreed we would love to play it without a howling gale!
The camaraderie and the hospitality of the Scots was as usual first class. Counting the score on the cup we have won 13 times and the Scots 23 times with 6 matches halved.
The win was a great start to my year as your President and my thanks go to the team.
