MTGS at the Berkshire

Last Thursday saw 80 members and guests at the Berkshire Golf Club for the 1st summer Guest Meeting. The weather ideal for golf – dry and not too hot. Both courses were in first class condition, all though the rough was a bit long if one got in it and the heather was as difficult as always! As you will see from the list below there were some good scores – also there were some bad ones as well (I know).

The lunch was as good as always the Berkshire seem to be able to always produce astounding food with a great choice. The renovated interior of the clubhouse has been beautifully done and works so well – I must congratulate them on the excellent design and the quality of the work.

My thanks go to John Smith for his usual excellent organizing and to Lionel Squire for manning the Desk.

A good time was had by all.
